SAVE THE SNOWS OF MOUNT KILIMANJARO UNDER MWECAU SDG CLUB
Save the Snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. This program is implemented by MWECAU SDG-Club. The main purpose of our club is to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations through smaller sub-committee projects from MWECAU faculties and departments.
Activities
Our SDG club vision is to cultivate a vibrant university community dedicated to sustainable development, fostering a culture of innovation, social responsibility, and collective action towards achieving the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Our Mission is to educate and empower students by fostering awareness, organizing initiatives, and hosting events centered on SDGs, cultivating a better future for all.
Our Sustainability Initiatives and Campaigns includes: – Education and Awareness Campaigns, Community Empowerment Programs, Legal and Human Rights Programs, Waste Management Programs, Tree Planting Campaigns, Water Conservation Projects, Renewable Energy Projects, Promoting Sustainable Agriculture, Biodiversity Conservation, Promotion of Eco-Friendly Practices, Policy and Advocacy Workshops and Technology Solutions for Sustainability.
